Taking a business approach to city government
“As a businessman, I’ve built and grown successful companies right here in Myrtle Beach,” Vaugh said. “I know what it takes to deliver results. Our city deserves leaders who will put residents first, cut through bureaucracy, and drive real change. Myrtle Beach can be safer, stronger, and thriving again — and I’m ready to lead that mission.”
- Nick Vaugh
Candidate, Myrtle Beach City Council

Safer.
Aggressive, proactive policing with a real-time Crime Center, zero-tolerance enforcement zones, and more boots on the ground to stop crime before it starts.

Stronger.
Zero-based budgeting, cutting waste at City Hall, privatizing major venues to be run by professionals, and keeping taxes low for seniors, families, and local businesses.

Thriving.
Expanding healthcare access, building a workforce training pipeline, supporting small businesses by cutting red tape, and leading a downtown renaissance to restore pride in the city’s core.

“I’m running because I believe in Myrtle Beach. This is where my wife and I are raising
our family, where my family businesses have grown, and where our future is.
It’s time for leaders who will put Myrtle Beach first — not bureaucracy, not special interests. I’m committed todelivering safer streets, a stronger city government, and a thriving economy for everyone.”
